SmartFlex in LiveBetter:


  • Lead of LiveBetter Hub architecture and development (WP4, T4.3)​

  • Design of the common data model and harmonisation blueprint (D2.1)​

  • Implementation of aggregation mechanisms and interoperability with the EU BSO​

  • Security, CI/CD, and microservices infrastructure of the Hub.


Our contributions to the process:

  • Hub architecture & development: Designs and implements the LiveBetter Hub as a secure, scalable microservices platform, including databases, search, CI/CD, identity management, and vulnerability monitoring to reliably host all project services.
  • Common data model & harmonisation: Leads the LiveBetter Common Data Model and harmonisation blueprint, aligning heterogeneous building data with EU Building Stock Observatory requirements for high‑quality, interoperable data sharing.
  • Service integration & onboarding: Connects WP2 data tools and WP3 AI services to the Hub via configurable APIs and interfaces, enabling end users to access renovation, inspection, performance, and flexibility services from a unified environment.
  • EU BSO interoperability & aggregation: Develops aggregation mechanisms that transform and stream building data in EU BSO‑compliant formats, allowing LiveBetter to both use and enrich the European Building Stock Observatory.
